Oak Ridge Town Park

Oak Ridge Town Park is located at 6231 Lisa Drive (across Linville Road from the Town Hall, Post Office and Fire Department). The park remains open from dawn to dusk, 7 days a week. 

Free Wi-Fi is available at the park. The password is ORTPwifi.

The park includes the following amenities:

  • Paved and unpaved walking trails
  • Two lighted multi-purpose football/soccer fields
  • Two lighted baseball/softball fields
  • Concession stand with restrooms
  • Two picnic shelters
  • Two playgrounds
  • Amphitheater
  • Stocked pond (catch-and-release fishing recommended) with fishing dock
  • Off-leash dog park
  • Mountain bike trails
  • Restrooms
  • Paved and lighted parking lot
  • Park maintenance/storage facility
  • Free Wi-Fi

The park also offers open grassy areas adequate to hold large community activities and events, picnic tables, park benches and several doggie waste stations.

The nearly 80-acre park opened to the public in 2008. Funding came from the Town's capital reserves along with a $500,000 PARTF (Parks and Recreation Trust Fund) grant from the North Carolina Division of Parks and Recreation.
