Board of Adjustment

As of December 5, 2024, the Board of Adjustment was approved by Town Council to be conjoined with the Planning & Zoning Board. The purpose of the Board of Adjustment is to hear and decide appeals from applicants and to review any order, requirement, decision, determination, or interpretation made by an administrative official charged with enforcing the Town of Oak Ridge Development Ordinance.

In the case of an appeal, the Board of Adjustment meets in person at Town Hall on the 4th Thursday of the month (if there is a case to be heard) at 7:00 p.m. 

A majority of the members of the Oak Ridge Town Council may attend the duly scheduled meetings of the statutory boards and appointed committees of the Town of Oak Ridge.
