Oak Ridge announces 2023 as "Year of the Trail"
2023 is The Year of the Trail in North Carolina!! The Oak Ridge Town Council began the year by adopting a resolution at their January meeting in support of trails and celebrating the Year of the Trail in Oak Ridge. Helping to kick off the celebration with Council were Oak Ridge Mountains-to-Sea Committee members. Recognizing the tremendous value that trails bring to our community, the Town of Oak Ridge and its dedicated volunteers continue to demonstrate their long-term commitment to local trails and the local, regional, and state connections forged in cooperation with the Friends of the MST, Piedmont Land Conservancy, Guilford County, and NC State Parks.
