Guidelines for Giving Invocation at Town Council Meetings

Citizens of the Town of Oak Ridge interested in providing an invocation at the Town Council meetings may apply to deliver an opening prayer (a) pursuant to guidelines consistent with the Supreme Court decisions through Town of Greece and (b) directed at and for the benefit of the legislators (Council members) and the legislative process (Council members and all who come before it to participate in local self-government in Oak Ridge).
